The world of historical bows from Renaissance to Baroque to Transitional is varied and individual. Although it can be important and informative to base models upon originals it is paramount that a bow 'works' for an individual performer.

In making an ever increasing variety of bows from various types of wood (especially Snakewood) I have often found that the best way forward is to study the bows which established professional players actually use.

Modern bows are rather more prescribed with regards style, material and making technique. If you wish for a copy of a bow to be made, I am happy to oblige; otherwise I base my modern bows (made in Pernambuco) on the famous French makers of the past.

Paying by instalments is a possibility. 

Following the trial period the bow must be purchased, returned or exchanged.
